Weekend Recap In Pictures

This weekend we had the pleasure of attending a wedding. One of Adam's cousins was married. It was an eventful and amazing weekend.

After driving 2.5 hours Friday night, we realized that while packing that both of us had neglected to pack the garment bag that was on the bed. This bag...not only had my dress but Adam's dress shirt and pants for the wedding...oops! Do we drive home and then 5 hours to the wedding very early Saturday morning or do we buy new clothes? We woke up early Saturday morning, drove for an hour and stopped at a mall to buy new clothes for the wedding.
This is me changing in a very tiny bathroom at a restaurant around the corner from the church 15 minutes before the wedding.
This is the $20 dress that I bought in just a few minutes.
Adam's outfit did not cost $20 but we're still smiling. The worst part about this...Thursday night we went shopping and both bought new outfits! I can guarantee that we will not forget that garment bag again!

The church is about a 140 years old and holds special meaning for Adam's family as  Adam's great grandfather attended this church after arriving from England. Stunning.

The reception space was perfect. Amazing food, great music and time spent with family. These really are life's best moments.
Bobcaygeon Inn...old, historic and interesting. Oh...and where I also ran into Kenny Rogers at 2 o'clock in the morning. Okay...it was a Kenny Rogers impersonator but hey...it was still cool.

    Love the dress! and I had to laugh out loud because that is totally something Scott and I would do! This weekend we took Waffles, Our dog not the food. To a festival thingy for dogs, and Scott forgot her leash...we had to use his belt. Yep totally would have forgot the bag too! The dress you found is adorable! Love it! What a gorgeous church!~ Lovin all the photos! Have a lovely week! :D

    I can't believe you found that dress for $20! What a bargain. And I have to say that forgetting your garmet bag at home is totally something I would do. My BFF got married last year one state away from where I live and I left all my makeup at home. I was the maid of honor. Fortunately, the other ladies in the bridal party let me borrow their makeup.

I've been keeping a secret. I'm not even going to make you wait. I'm just going to come out and say it. I really don't like when people say, "Hey, I have news" and then ramble on for fifteen minutes about how they didn't know how to tell you, and would you like the good news or the bad news first. Dilemma

I’m having a bit of a dilemma. Which is putting it mildly. I am not sure whether to shut the factory down for good, or keep it chugging along in its pitiful, yet marginally functioning state. If things were normal, if *I* was normal (cue hysterical laughter here), then I might be happy to let things chug along as they were and see what happens. But things (my body and I) are far from normal and so I feel like I need to make a decision either way. Which really sucks and makes me feel a renewed sense of frustration, irritation and mourning for the sorry state of affairs of my reproductive bits. We recently had an appointment with our RE to discuss our options and see where we stand. It was great to touch base with Dr. L but as expected, nothing has really changed. My fertility has been on a fairly rapid decline and there's not much we can do to change that (FSH last tested at 20). Start Spreading The News...

My trip to New York City was completely amazing but I'm not going to lie....the re-entry to life has been difficult this past two days. After 5 days away I thought I'd return refreshed and ready to jump back onto the work/life wagon...I was wrong. Is it Friday yet? The highlights of my trip were many. But first...I had a moment. When we made it to the hotel, the emotions that had been building the entire day and week came bursting out and I cried and cried. Oh, how I cried!
